Video Game Music life
Yoko Shimomura, Japanese composer and musician best known for her video game music. It includes music from Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Live A Live, Kingdom Hearts, Front Mission, Legend of Mana, and Heroes of Mana. Yoko Shimomura says the PlayStation 2, sound production was mainly based on the internal sound chip, not streaming, so it was a constant battle with memory and limitations, such as the number of sound channels. With the PlayStation 3, I’m expecting to have it sound the way I please, without limitations. Most wanted and likely to get from square-enix is Final Fantasy Versus XIII, a lot of playstation fans are likely to get this for many reasons. Link–>
Guitar Hero: Metallica coming
Another Guitar hero game coming out soon as early 2009 from Activision, heavy metal band called Metallica. Of course guitar hero 4 is coming out soon as October 27, 2008 and seems likely that Run DMC will be in it. There are so many new music games coming out this year from other companies, you never know maybe rockband 2. Lets see if Guitar hero Metallica has new extreme challenge for gamers because is pretty fast playing action songs. Maybe there will be other heavy metal bands in it as well. There was some reports stated that the project had been quietly canceled in 2005, so maybe its an even bigger game.
